FREE SPIRIT GENES – Lecoanet Hemant unveils its A/W 2016 collection at Vayu, Bikaner House

GENES – Lecoanet Hemant hosted a preview of their Autumn/Winter Collection 2016 at Bikaner House, New Delhi. Designer Hemant Sagar –played gracious host to Delhi’s swish set that browsed through the new collection. Spotted were guests such as Designer Pia Puaro, Mala Singh, Ramola Bachchan, Vivek Sahni and Bhaichand Patel.
Inspired by the picturesque region of Ladakh, the new Autumn/Winter 2016 collection encapsulates stunning snow peaks, magical monasteries and the scenic colours of the winter wonderland. Divided in three categories for men and women – Work, Play and Celebrate – one can find versatile outfits in hues of teal, burgundy, white, grey and black.
THEMES
- Coats and overcoats in sharp cuts and silhouettes for the season.
- Embroidery on jackets and kurtas celebrate tribal elegance.
- Quilted jackets, tracksuits and bomber jackets for a sporty chic look.
- Crisp, white shirts that are wardrobe essentials.
- Waistcoats, half jackets, sweat shirts for the onset of winter.
