 AIM - Artistes’ Introspective Movement a federation of artists with progressive attitude towards arts which is headed by internationally renowned Veena Maestro Dr.Suma Sudhindra and renowned Kuchipudi Exponent Veena Murthy Vijay. Since its inception in year 2003 AIM has carried on projects and festivals in the field of Dance, Music, theatre & arts by various world renowned artists. AIM has also produced a 13 part life style tele serial “One State Many Worlds” presenting the heritage sites of Karnataka and performances by legendary Artists. Since last six years Aim has been successfully organizing one of India’s ten biggest Arts Festivals “Bengaluru International Arts Festival” BIAF from 2008.

Standing for innovation & integrity, AIM- Bengaluru International Art Festival serves as a great magnet for creating a vortex of energy in the space and the community at large. A part of funds collected will be utilized for welfare of the community.

Internationally acclaimed Violin Maestros Dr. M. LALITHA and M. NANDINI have been widely applauded as the `QUEENS OF VIOLIN - Weekend'- of the present generation.  Popularly known as the `VIOLIN SISTERS', these outstanding musicians have enthralled the audiences with their spellbinding music and have been  acclaimed as the "ONLY FEMALE DUO IN ASIA to perform the World music, South Indian Classical, Fusion and Western Classical music - Le Mauricien". 

 MAHARI DANCE of ORISSA

Mahari is a ritualistic dance form the eastern Indian state of Odisha that used to be performed at the temple of Lord Jagannath at Puri by devadasi dancers called maharis.

PT. SUDDHASHIL CHATTERJEE

Performance Date: 18th September (Sunday)

Pt.Suddhashil Chatterjee is trained under the guidance of Pt Shivkumar Sharma. He was introduced to santoor instrument by santoor exponent Pt Tarun Bhattacharya and learnt under Pt Tezendra Narayan Majumder. After his training under Pt Shivkumar Sharma, he performed in many festivals like Mysore Dasara Festival, Times of India Kalaghoda Arts Festival (Mumbai), Hampi Utsav hosted by Government of Karnataka at the world heritage site of Hampi, Kumar Gadharva Sangeet Samaroha, Aurangabad, Basantotsav hosted by Abhinav Kala Parishad, Bhopal, Saptakarchives Festival (Ahmedabad), Bangalore Festival (Habba), SawaiGandharvaSangeetSamaroha (Kundgol, Karnataka), Yuva Sangeet Utsav Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Pune, India International Centre (New Delhi), Brhaddhvani Gurukulam, Chennai, Ram Krishna Mission (Bengal), Pt Mandrekar Bua Sangeet Samaroha (Goa), Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh. He has also toured abroad in countries like Italy, Hannover, Belgium, Stuttgart, France, Holland etc. His performance at Abruzzo Festival has received standing ovation from the audience.

SUMA SUDHINDRA

Suma Sudhindra is a classical musician and veena exponent from India, in the Carnatic Music genre. She is a performer, teacher, researcher and administrator.

Dr.Suma Sudhindra's biggest contribution to the music world is her innovation - 'Tarangini Veena', which is a small version of Saraswathi Veena. "The TaranginiVeena, for which I hold the patent, is very compact and light, making it small enough to be comfortably portable and easy to play." Her organisation Tarangini Arts Foundation conducts cultural festivals every year to promote the cause of Indian classical music apart from imparting lessons in veena and classical music. She received ''Rajyotsava Award' from Karnataka Government in the year 2001.
