Pune, 16 Sept – DBS Mintek Pvt Ltd organised a blood donation camp on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi recently. This camp was organised in association with Sahyadri hospital at the Kothrud office of DBS, where executives and staff voluntarily donated blood. The programme was organised under the CSR - Corporate Social Responsibility.
Sr Vice President of Bajaj Auto and Head of Bajaj Finance Mr Raunaq Singh inaugurated the camp by donating blood. Shri Sajesh Manjiparambil, Head - Customer Service - Bajaj Auto Finance, Shri. S Swaminathan and Shri Jayesh Hemnani among others from Bajaj Auto Finance were also present during this inauguration.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Raunaq Singh highlighted the importance of Blood Donation which can help to save thousands of lives in need. He inspired everyone to come forward and donate blood to safeguard life of others.
Shri Shiv Prakash Singh Director- DBS stated that Blood is more required in traumatic cases and in our country due to non-availability of blood, millions of lives are lost. Mr Singh further highlighted the importance of Eye Donation and stated that in their next CSR program would be on Eye Donation will voluntarily donate eyes and serve the humanity.
Shri Sajesh Manjiparambil mentioned that the Blood donation camp organised by DBS Mintek is really a noble cause and they are happy to be a part of the activity. He also said that it is important to encourage such activities which will help in availability of vital resource like blood for the people in need.
Mr. Makarand Shahpurkar (PRO-Sayadri ) confirmed more then 150 participant in the event and termed it as a great success.
