About Band
Tejas Manjunath and Pranav Manjunath, popularly known as “Boston Brothers”, are versatile violin artistes trained mainly in Carnatic classical tradition and yet effortlessly incorporate Western and Hindustani music styles enthralling the audience.
Well versed in the local music tradition, Tejas and Pranav who were born in Boston began training in the violin in the US, until a few years ago, when their family moved to Bengaluru.
Their repertoire includes Carnatic and Western classical compositions, Kannada songs, Bollywood, Western pop and a combination of various styles. We try to play different ragas at each concert, especially the main piece. Since we have a good understanding among ourselves, it is easier for us to complement each other. During the concert, we get requests from the audience for certain ragas or kritis.

About Band
Swahaa are
an Indian based percussion band hailing from the city of Bangalore. Named after
the Sanskrit term chanted at the end of a mantra or prayer in Hinduism and
Buddhism traditions, this band is a potpourri of Latin grooves, Samba, Reggae
and Indian Folk music, thereby catering to a worldwide audience. Constituted by
African percussion instruments in combination with Indian classic instruments,
this band blends beat music with the most loved Indian folk music, that would
get anyone to dance their hearts out.
