New Delhi, 23rd August 2016: In keeping with the new holistic approach to beauty – inside and out; DLF Promenade in collaboration with top lifestyle brands has launched “Fit & Fabulous”- a unique celebration of beauty, wellness, nutrition and fitness. This exciting initiative unfolds via a 10-day extravaganza, which commenced on 19th of August 2016 and will extend till 28th August 2016 at the central atrium of DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj.
Fit & Fabulous is the second edition of DLF Promenade’s ‘Timeless Beauty’ campaign, which celebrated beauty across different eras organized in the month of November 2015. This year the focus has widened its horizon beyond beauty towards the importance of fitness, nutrition and healthy eating making for a more end to end program to raise awareness about harnessing healthy habits to create a beautiful you. Like last year, the mall has curated a beauty zone where iconic brands such as Sephora, Inglot and ColorBar are conducting free beauty makeovers. The enthusiastic artists from these brands give away the secrets to the in-trend looks to look your best throughout the day as well as for any occasion. The brands have even curated few easy tips to get away with makeup while you work out. Renowned dermatologists from Kama Ayurveda, L’OCCITAINE and Forest Essentials will be present to give skin and beauty advise to our visitors on the 24th of August 2016 at their respective outlets.
Food partners Smoke House Deli and Johnny rockets are bringing in their very own celebrated chefs to do live demonstrations.at their outlets on 22nd August 2016 Chef Bakshish Dean((“Chef of the Year” award by the Indian Culinary Forum and the PHD Chambers of Commerce and in April 2008 , currently holds the position of CEO at Johnny Rockets India) will demonstrate interesting ways to dress delicious salads from the Johnny Rockets menu at the outlet, and Chef Shamshul Wahid (Group Executive Chef of Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. ) from Smoke House Deli will also be spotted cooking dishes from a specially curated health menu, while exclusively divulging some interesting ingredients for tasty yet healthy food. The mall walkers will also get to learn one or two facts about nutrition and fitness through an interactive live quiz session at the Fit & Fabulous setup.
Simultaneously, the mall has roped in the leading gym chain, Fitness First -to conduct a series of interesting fitness activities inside the mall atrium open to both men and women;, which are high on fun and at the simultaneously attributes to a unique social cause . The calories burnt during the rowing activity will equate to the charity contribution by Fitness First. For each calorie burnt by the participant, a rupee - will be donated towards Delhi Langar Sewa Society. For the Mall walkers, there are exciting and engaging fitness challenges organized for all the 10 days which includes GX launches, Vipr Athletic, BOSU Balance, Fit ball & Kettlebells, Spin & win program on Spinning bikes and much more - .
