DEWA is the first government organisation to host Youth Circles, approved by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to provide a platform to discuss the best practices and the most important topics related to the youth and their aspirations, and come up with practical solutions and innovative ideas to the challenges they face. We are honoured that DEWA has been announced as one of the first organisations to provide support for Marriage Endowment. This supports the marriage of young Emiratis and promotes building successful families for a cohesive society that keeps its identity and traditions. The family is the foundation for society to develop sustainably. DEWA hosted the 9th Anwar (lights) Dubai mass wedding for its Emirati employees. This supports Emirati families, and helps the Emirati youth start a stable and happy married life. This is an investment in the sustainability of our human and natural resources.

We have doubled the number of students enrolled in the second batch of the Carbon Ambassadors Programme to 75, between 2015 and 2016.
