Becomes the first herbal brand to introduce a complete range of mouthwashes

Bangalore, 19 August 2016: The Himalaya Drug Company, India’s leading herbal health and Personal Care Company became the first herbal brand to launch a complete range of alcohol-free mouthwashes. Comprising of natural ingredients like pomegranate, pineapple and papaya; the mouthwashes complement Himalaya’s pre-existing range of toothpastes and are available in three different variants as follows:

Commenting on the launch of Himalaya’s new range of mouthwashes Mr. Rajesh Krishnamurthy- Business Head, Consumer Products Division said,  “In India mouthwash market is pegged at 175 cr out of which non-medicated mouthwash market size is around 75cr. The Oral care market continues to evolve and today consumers are more open to trying new products that help provide them better oral health. Herbal Oral Care solutions continues to have strong acceptance among consumers. In 2013, we were the first company to launch a range of herbal toothpastes, catering to sensitivity, whitening, multi-benefit and fresh breath and today, we are the first to launch mouthwashes. The Himalaya range of mouthwashes are currently available as 215 ml bottles priced at Rs. 95.
