17th August 2016; Mumbai: At a glittering ceremony held in Mumbai, Firegaze Entertainment Pvt Ltd announced the biggest Navaratri festival to be held in Mumbai at Chitrakoot Grounds, Andheri. As the festive mood sets among Indians from the start of September every year, Firegaze Entertainment announced Navraag 2016 in presence of celebrities and political dignitaries. The show was inaugurated by Actor Sonu Sood in presence of other notable personalities at Hotel Sahara Star in Mumbai.
Navraag 2016 will be the biggest ever concept based Navaratri show to be organized with dozens of artist performing at the event from 1st October to 11th October 2016. The 11 day festival will be conducted on a complete wooden flooring and will have multiple food stalls with exquisite cuisine assorted from all over India. Performances are lined up from well-known artists like MTV Rock On winner Naitik Nagda, Manish Joshi, Umesh Barot, Arpita Thakkar, Pomal Shah, Ashita Dedia among many others.

Navratri is a festival dedicated to worship the Hindu deity Durga and the word comes from ‘nine nights’ in Sanskrit, nava meaning nine and ratri meaning nights. It is a festival where people from all communities come together to celebrate oneness among themselves. “We are a young team that is committed to deliver an experience that people can cherish for a very very long time. Navraag will be a unique amalgamation of desi-western fusion, food, culture, music, dance and colors”, adds Mr. Jhunjhunwala.
