India 23 August 2016: Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd., ( A Govt of India undertaking, under Ministry of Textiles) is Celebrating its 32nd Anniversary with COTTAGE UTSAV, an Exhibition of Handicrafts & Handlooms from 22nd August – 31st August 2016 at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat, Bangalore. CCIE is dedicated to promoting the expansive arts and crafts from all ends of our country and thus help in improving the welfare of our able endowed artisans.
Around 40 artists who are national and state awardees from various parts of India are participating in COTTAGE UTSAV with their unique crafts from their respective regions and we thank patrons like you for helping us in our endeavours, said Shri. S. Inayath Shah, Manager, CCIE, Bangalore.

On display are exquisite Jewellery, paintings – Orissa & Madhubani, Metal ware, Tanjore paintings, Art objects, etc., and in Handlooms we have Women's wear, Men's wear, Handloom Dress fabrics and Sarees from Jaipur, Chikan embroidered kurtas/sarees from Lucknow, Phoolkari items from Punjab, Table Linen /Bed spreads from Kerala, Embroidered Sarees, kurtas, Bedspreads from Kolkatta, Shawls, Silk Kurtas, Silk scarves and jackets to name a few from Kashmir & much more.
This Cottage Utsav is yet another step by CCIE to encourage the craft persons to present their creations to the discerning buyers from all parts of the country and world.
